Side projects, experiments, and creative detours from the past decade.
Some are finished, some ongoing, none follow a roadmap.
Just stuff that seemed worth and fun making.

current website

While it's not pixel-perfect yet ansd will never be, I'm continuously refining the details and improving the experience over time. It serves as both a portfolio and a testing ground for being creative. I took the main structure i built in the past and worked on it with the help auf claude.ai.

Vibe coding

Exploring how AI tools like Replit, Base44, and vercel can accelerate prototyping. It's teaching me how to work faster with AI-assisted development and think differently about technical feasibility and requirements.

recents:
• Recipe app: signature dishes - the meals you already know how to cook by heart. Rediscover your kitchen. Reimagine your favorites. mobile optimized.
• Dog walking route optimizer: track your walks & get inspiration...

herbstpunkt

Started as a bet, now a steady creative outlet and bubble to dive into. I design underwear / boxershorts, experiment with patterns, and sew pieces that friends actually wear. It's the opposite of product management – no roadmaps, no sprints, just making things because they feel good.

website version 2.0

Rebuilt my portfolio from scratch to learn modern CSS, improve information architecture, and experiment with interactive UI elements. love the direct feedback loop: code → deploy → iterate.

website version 1.0

My first real dive into building a website from scratch — figuring out HTML, CSS, and content structure while trying to make something that actually felt fun and the beginning of a better understanding how design decisions translate into code.

covid side "project"

A COVID side project — building a website for a friend's vacation apartment in Bad Hindelang. I handled the full thing: IA, visual concept, and code. A fun change of pace from EdTech. The site's offline now since everything moved to Airbnb, but it was a worthwhile experiment.

one explainer video

My onboarding project at simpleshow in 2015 – an explainer video about daylight saving time. It was one of my introductions to their storytelling approach and breaking down concepts in away people understand. Somehow pulled 120k+ views over the past decade.
